Popeye the Sailor Man’s 75th Anniversary Salute to Old Glory Features Appearances by the Mighty Mariner and Comic Stars Beetle Bailey and Sarge

On Saturday, June 12, Popeye the Sailor Man is teaming up with Beetle Bailey and Sarge, the beloved comic-strip creations of the “Dean of Cartoonists” Mort Walker, for the star-spangled salute to that red-white-and-blue icon of America during the “Fantastic Flags and Army Birthday” celebration at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

Visitors can enjoy a fun photo opportunity with Popeye, Beetle and Sarge on Pier 86 from Noon to 4 p.m. The Intrepid Sea Air Space Museum is located at 12th Avenue & West 46th Street in New York City.
